South Padre Fire Dept Received Grant

Our Fire Department received a grant through the Rio Grande Valley Trauma Regional Advisory Council, in the amount of $3,514.  This money will help purchase medical supplies.

New Street Signs in South Padre

Faded City street sign replacement is underway and should be completed soon. South-facing street signs fade from extensive sun exposure making them difficult to read, particularly at night. Replacement of these signs will help increase visibility for all drivers.
